Mrs. Beasley's

Mrs. Beaseley's is one of the many trucks that hangs out in Truck Alley behind the MTV building on 26th and Colorado in Santa Monica. Their truck is perfect for dessert if say, you didn't have truck food already for lunch or, maybe you want to take something home to the family.

I am not sold on this being the best dessert but it is available and the options are plentiful. Plus, the nice ladies on the truck gave me a free reusable bag!

I ordered the Chocolate Whoopie Pie. I have a soft spot for these cakey cookies filled with sweet frosting. This Whoopie pie, which I had planned to eat all by myself was extra sweet. I could barely eat a sliver so I had to share. My coworkers gobbled it down with relish--so it is hard to say was it delicious or was it just there? I'm going with delicious. It probably didn't help that I had already had my fill of sweets from Louk's.
