Apollo Burger

Above the mall on Magnolia is a large run-down building that boasts Hamburgers in giant letters across the top. Being a big fan of burgers, that place has always interested me. Today, we decided to stop in and give it a try.

The menu ranges from breakfast deals and burgers to sandwiches and teriyaki. I got the #1 deal which was a cheeseburger, fries and a 16 oz drink for $6.40. My husband got a hamburger, grilled cheese sandwich and a drink. The prices were pretty good for the amount of food we got.

I thought the burger was a little overdone but otherwise fast-diner tasty. The pickles were actual dill which was a nice change from some of the ones you get elsewhere. The fries were hot and plentiful. The grilled cheese sandwich was also quite large but nothing too special.

There isn't much ambiance in the small dining area but there are some outside tables too. I would go back here if I was looking for a quick lunch. Cash only.
