Tocabe

Have you ever had Indian fry bread? Like the Native American kind? I'm not talking about the fry bread they use at the Cheesecake Factory for the Navajo. I'm talking about hot, fresh out of the fryer crispy on the outside chewy on the inside slightly sweet fry bread.

And that is what you get at Tocabe. America's Next Great Restaurant - come find these guys. They have a product that could rival Chipotle. Tocabe is the most different fast casual restaurant I have ever been to. While many of the ingredients shadow Mexican staples--beans, cheese, meat, lettuce, salsas, corn--the fry bread gives the entrees a twist you can get nowhere else.

Order at the counter and decide if you want your fry bread stuffed or topped. Choose your ingredients, save room for dessert and head to your table. The fry bread gets a tad soggy topped with so many ingredients so try to eat it before it cools.

Dessert is fry bread topped with either fruit topping or cinnamon and sugar. Don't miss this sweet treat! It's like a better elephant ear! If you're in Denver, don't skip this place!
